Bowfest 2019 at Mont Du Lac

Join us for the Midwest’s largest 3D shooting festival, July 25th - 28th 2019.

The weekend’s events include four unique courses with 60+ Rinehart targets, thousands of dollars in prizes, live music, and celebrities.

Weekend Events:

  • Live music all weekend

  • Shoot all known distances: Advanced, Hunter, and Traditional/Beginner

  • Realistic shoot through ravines, woods, and water

  • Money shoot

  • Novelty shoots (thousands of dollars in prizes)

  • Night shoot with lighted nocks under the ski hill lights (To register for the night shoot, give us a call at 218-626-3797)

  • Pop-up and moving targets

  • World-Class whitetail antler shed display

  • Many vendors on site

Learn the basics of fly casting and fishing, and where and how to fly fish in southeast Minnesota for trout and other species. This class will get you started with indoor casting instruction and practice, fly fishing knots, stream entomology, flies for this area, reading the water, and more. Following this class, you'll be prepared for the fishing season. Additional assistance provided by Hiawatha Trout Unlimited members.

Open to ages 18 and up. Must register through the Rochester Community Education link. $35 per person.

The South St. Louis Soil and Water Conservation District hosts this free educational event on tree health and tree care. Speakers will present on forest insects and diseases, weather damage and creative solutions for preventing and treating common problems. Coffee and snacks will be provided and there will also be an opportunity to purchase trees for the spring through the annual SWCD tree sale.
